After more than 40 years, the narrow, fabric-lined lanes of Yen Chow Street Hawker Bazaar in Sham Shui Po are soon to be a thing of the past. Established in 1978 and commonly known as “Pang Jai”, it had been the go-to place for fashion designers, students, and Non-Ethnic Chinese looking for cheap and original materials and accessories. The covered-market closed on January 31 and demolition.
